Welcome to my site. It’s where I share some of my photography and writing.

Inspired by mountains, wind and wild places, I take photographs to see better, by pausing time.

Sometimes I write about what I see and feel.

I currently divide my time between West Yorkshire and Hampshire, with as many trips to other places, either by van or bike, as I can fit in. Scotland is usually first pick, although its distance keeps it as remote as it does uncrowded.

But there’s always beauty to be found in most places, when we look.
